Q1 2025 CEO Update: Making Complete Visibility the New Standard

Q1 2025 CEO Update: Making Complete Visibility the New Standard

As we wrap the first quarter of 2025, I’m excited to share a few reflections on our progress and what lies ahead. In just a few months, we’ve seen exposure management evolve from a conversation starter to a category driver—and our customers are leading the way.

We’re seeing a powerful shift in mindset. Organizations are no longer satisfied with reacting to threats—they want to anticipate, prevent, and prioritize. That’s exactly what exposure management enables, and we’re proud to help more companies adopt it as a strategic pillar.

That belief is taking root both outside and inside our organization. Our product and engineering teams are bringing the vision to life, while our 24/7 managed SOC ensures customers turn insight into action. In this update, you’ll see how we’re advancing the mission through smarter technology, stronger services, and deeper engagement with those we serve.

A customer-centric approach to AI

Our development team continues to push forward on the most important capabilities our customers need to stay ahead of risk. Over the past quarter, we’ve accelerated our work around AI-powered profiling and detection—and we’re now delivering that intelligence in ways that go far beyond dashboards or alerts.

This isn’t AI for the sake of buzz. We’re focused on functionality that makes our customers faster, smarter, and more resilient:

  • AI-powered discovery and profiling that pulls from syslog, NetFlow, and API sources to create highly accurate asset profiles across on-prem, cloud, OT, and IoT
  • Enhanced risk detection and prioritization using learning models that factor in vulnerability data, system behavior, and customer-specific weightings
  • Real-time insights and alerts based on evolving risk and exposure conditions
  • A streamlined, intuitive interface that reflects higher-fidelity detections through our dynamic R3 (Relative Risk Rating) scoring system.

The R3 model simplifies complex signals into five actionable dimensions that guide security and IT teams from awareness to resolution. This clarity and specificity is what customers have been asking for—and now it’s part of the everyday experience on our platform.

The “single pane of glass” comes to fruition

What we continue to hear from our customers is consistent: the need for a more proactive approach is real, and the challenge of doing it in an ever-expanding digital environment is daunting. Complexity is rising. Tools are multiplying. Attack surfaces are growing. Yet the expectations on security teams haven’t changed—they’re still expected to do more, faster, with less.

Customers often describe us as the “single pane of glass” they’ve been searching for. We’re giving them a consolidated, unified platform that delivers:

  • Complete visibility
  • Agentless discovery
  • Log and event management
  • Vulnerability lifecycle management
  • NIST CSF-based scoring and guidance
  • Threat intelligence that’s actionable, not overwhelming

These capabilities are designed not just to detect issues, but to help our customers fix them—prioritized, contextualized, and aligned to business impact. Customers are also using this “single pane of glass” to derive Insights on controls and coverage to make better financial decisions - reducing costs while building resilience.

Keeping experts in the loop, 24/7

Exposure management works best when paired with the right operational support—and that’s where our 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) comes in.

For many of our customers—including our valued MSP partners—the insights from our platform are just the beginning. They need expert eyes on their environment, help responding to alerts, and the peace of mind that someone is watching at all times. That’s exactly what our SOC delivers.

Our team acts as an extension of our customers—triaging alerts, surfacing what matters most, and helping drive the response process. Whether customers have a lean internal team or are just getting started with formalizing their security operations, our SOC ensures the value of exposure management is fully realized.

It’s not just technology. It’s in-house experts—24 hours a day.

NVIDIA: accelerating innovation

A major highlight this quarter is our progress through the NVIDIA Inception Program, which is helping us expand our AI development with unprecedented speed and scale. Through this program—and in collaboration with other key partners—we’re leveraging the most powerful tools and infrastructure in the industry to bring even more intelligence and automation into our platform.

This partnership is more than strategic—it’s transformative. It enables us to build and deliver features that can process, model, and act on risk data faster and more intelligently than ever before.

Putting customer feedback first

In February, we held our first Quarterly Customer Update, and I want to thank everyone who joined us live or followed up afterward. It was a milestone for us—not just in sharing new capabilities, but in opening a real dialogue with our users.

The feedback we received is helping shape how we evolve our product, communicate our roadmap, and support use cases that matter most—from risk reduction to compliance to faster incident response. It’s clear our customers are deeply engaged in this journey—and we’re listening.

We look forward to hosting more updates like this throughout the year. They’re just one more way we’re working to stay aligned with the challenges and opportunities our customers face every day.

Looking ahead to Q2

We’re proud of how far we’ve come—and even more excited about what’s ahead. Everything we’re building is driven by one mission: to help organizations see everything, secure what matters, and stay ahead of cyber risk.

Exposure management is more than a feature—it’s a framework for resilience. You’ve seen us lean into that shift across our product updates, services, and conversations with customers. The momentum we’re seeing confirms what we’ve believed all along: this is the future of cybersecurity.

Thank you to our customers for your insight, trust, and partnership—and to our incredible teams, from engineering to our 24/7 SOC, for making this vision real every day. We look forward to sharing more this year as we continue to grow, evolve, and lead—together.
